If any of the participants notice an error or a correction needs to be made on the documents, the notary should contact the party responsible for the documents (settlement agent, lender, or title company). The responsible organization will need to update the documents accordingly and a new signing session will need to be created with the corrected documents. This may result in a rescheduling of the signing session.
